The CQ Voting and Elections Collection The Voting and Elections Collection includes data on the 2006 mid-term elections, features new major additions on campaigns and elections, and is loaded with powerful research tools on the U. S. electoral system. For Presidential elections, there is data back to 1789 for electoral votes, 1824 for popular votes, and county-level data beginning in 1920. For Congressional elections, there is House election data from 1824 for house districts. There is Senate elections data from 1908 with county-level data beginning in 1968. For Gubernatorial elections, data begins in 1824, with county-level data beginning in 1968.
