The Making of Modern Law is derived from two essential reference collections for historical and more contemporary legal studies—the Nineteenth-Century Legal Treatises and Twentieth-Century Legal Treatises microfilm collections, published by Thomson Gale imprint Primary Source Microfilm.
This resource provides digital images of every page of 22,000 legal treatises on U.S. and British law published from 1800 through 1926. Full-text searching of the more than 10 million pages in the database is available.
