Web of Science provides access to Science Citation Index Expanded®, Social Sciences Citation Index®, and Arts and Humanities Citation Index®, covering over 12,000 journals. These three databases can be searched separately, in any combination, or all at once. Web of Science is unique in that users can search to find which articles have cited a certain author or article. This type of research will often yield results that are not found through traditional subject or keyword searches.
